CCN goes on a shopping trip to Ashford and travels afar to the Caspian Sea
Each month we wait with bated breath to find out where the newsletter has been on its travels! This summer, the newsletter has travelled near and far!
Here, we see the newsletter on a shopping trip to Ashford in Kent on a stifling hot day in July. Taking some rest on the benches by the old locomotive wheel fountain in Lower High Street, our reader wished it was still working!
Next, the newsletter found its way over to Baku, along the coastline of the Caspian Sea. Our reader explains, “We were in Baku for a job so thought it would be great to take the magazine to the world’s largest flag. I think it’s 72m long but you don’t really see the scale in the photo. Flag Square is next to Crystal Hall where they held the Eurovision Song Contest. Azerbaijan is well worth a visit as it mixes culture with the Middle East and Eastern Europe.” Wow! That is a HUGE flag! Thank you to our reader for sending this in!
