The Newsletter team asked South Brooks Solar Farm for an update and here is what they told us:
We recently completed the second phase of consultation on our proposals for South Brooks Solar Farm, which ran from 28 May to 16 July 2026.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to share their views. We are now reviewing and analysing the feedback received, alongside the findings of our ongoing environmental assessments.
This work will help shape the final design of the project and inform our Development Consent Order (DCO) application, which we expect to submit to the Planning Inspectorate in early 2027.
As part of preparing our application, a range of environmental and technical surveys will continue to take place across the site over the coming months. Updates on survey activity and what is happening on site can be found on the news page of our website.
