4th March saw another highly successful and most enjoyable evening in the Memorial Hall with our Spring Bingo Night.
As always, there was a wonderful collection of prizes to be won – mostly with a spring feel. Toiletries, chocolates, alcohol, garden goodies, books (it was the eve of World Book Day!!), toys for the kiddies, our ever-popular fruit basket, a spring-cleaning kit, jigsaws – the list goes on!
Entertained by our stalwart Bingo Caller, Ian, everyone had a great fun evening, and the walls were soon ringing out with calls of “Line!” and “House!” as folk filled out their cards. As well as our usual table snacks, it being British Pie Week, one of our guests very kindly baked some delicious steak pies for everyone to munch on.
The night ended with our usual Raffle and we raised a whopping £352 towards our newsletter printing costs. Thank you to all involved!
