After a break for the summer, Community Prize Bingo resumed in great style in the middle of September!
With an array of prizes on offer, a good time was had by all! This time around, there were some unusual items – from a very swish chrome kitchen bin to a huge, organic marrow grown on Camber allotments!
In between, there were sweets & chocolates, a bottle of gin, toys & games, a jigsaw, several bottles of wine, toiletries, candles, a scarf, garden lights & gardening tools, bags (hand, shoulder, tote and cool varieties), a calendar, kitchen equipment, floral arrangements, a clock, the ever-popular fruit basket and even a couple of cuddly toys!
Proceeds from the evening were given to CCN – a massive £315! We would like to extend a great big thank you to everyone who donated prizes and all the players who made the evening so much fun!
Special mentions must go to Dave and John who helped set up and pack away, our caller, Ian, who entertained us all, to Sandra for providing the snacks for the tables, and to Georgina who kept everyone topped up with teas and coffees.
Well done to everyone for another successful community event!
