Coastal Office News – April 26

With Easter now behind us, the Coastal Operations Team continue with the transition to ‘summer mode’ and will be operating seven days a week in Camber from Good Friday.

Additionally, RNLI Lifeguards will resume their duties on the beach, initially operating from the Central Car Park base on weekends before expanding services as the season progresses.

The existing Car Park Team is back on duty, supporting and assisting visitors with parking and general information about the area. The team has always helped visitors with safety matters, pointing out the safety signs and issuing wristbands to families with young children.

This year, the role will be expanded with even more focus on helping visitors to stay safe, backed up by an increase in safety information signs in the car parks and on the beach. Team members will be known as Camber Welcome Assistants.
