The Christmas tree that featured in the Church for our Carol Service on 22nd December arrived in Camber after a bit of a journey.
I am sure you will all know at least one person who has named their vehicle – and probably given them a bit of a jibe about the ridiculousness of naming an inanimate object, etc!
Camber Community Group, the organisation behind Camber Community Newsletter, was formed 13 years ago this month! In that time, the group has been involved in many community events and projects, some in the public eye, and some running quietly behind the scenes – but always for the good of the village.
I have lived in Camber for just over 10 years now and have noticed the speeding is getting worse, everyone is rushing. Also, aggressive drivers, always the odd car.
Camber Community Newsletter has received a grant of £500 from the Police & Crime Commissioner’s Community Safety Fund.
Construction work has been completed to improve a stretch of National Cycle Network Route 2 between the outskirts of Jury’s Gap and the East Sussex County boundary with Kent.
In Edition No. 100 (December 2021), we featured an article in CCN about ESCC finally doing something about clearing the sand from the Old Lydd Road pavement.
