Here at the newsletter, we would like to join the Monday Club in thanking the staff at NISA for nominating us each for a share of the Making a Difference Locally (MADL) fund, before the NISA store closed in September.
During the past two decades, Medi Tech Trust has donated medical equipment to surgeries and hospitals. Two years ago, we launched a recycling initiative called Medigive®, which has already enabled our charity to donate nearly £4 million worth of medical equipment and consumables to hospitals in low-income countries and war zones.
Earlier in 2024 we called out for prescription glasses that could be recycled around the world. As usual, Camber residents responded with generosity and 82 pairs were donated.
The King Charles III Coronation Medal was awarded to frontline emergency service workers who had completed five years of service on May 6, 2023, and who dealt with emergencies as part of their job.
Once more, the team at Camber Community Group find themselves saying a big “WOW, Camber, you did it again!!”
