We are hoping to raise money to help cover essential maintenance and running costs
The community memorial hall is at the heart of our village. It is a welcoming space run entirely by dedicated volunteers and provides a place for local groups, families, and community events to come together throughout the year.
As a registered charity (No: 227377), we rely on the generosity of our community to help cover the everyday costs of keeping the hall open and safe for everyone to enjoy.
They are hoping to raise £5,000 of which every penny will be spent to help cover essential maintenance and running costs, including but not limited to:
- Building insurance / council rates
- Heating oil
- Electricity
- Water charges
- General maintenance and repairs
- Decorating and painting
- Cleaning and other day-to-day operating expenses
