Here at the newsletter team, we thought it might be fun to see if we can get CCN to travel around the world, spreading news of our amazing village and beach! When you go off on your travels, however near or far flung, please take your copy of CCN with you and snap a picture of it in different places, and then send it in to us at cambernews@hotmail.com. If you have finished reading it by the time you take the picture, why not leave your copy at the destination for someone else to read, and maybe they will also fall in love with Camber!
To kick start the photo album, two members of the newsletter team took their copies of the July/August CCN to Scotland and here are a couple of pictures of the newsletter in Glasgow, resting between the paws of one of the lions at the war memorial in the famous George Square in the city centre, and on a boat, half way across a very windy Loch Lomond! (They had to hold on tight to the newsletter so it didn’t blow away!)

Whilst on Loch Lomond, they enjoyed reading the names on the side of the moored boats, and spotted a boat called “Rye n Dry”! A nod to home from so far away!
They left their copies of the newsletter in the Wetherspoons at the edge of George Square (“The Counting House” – now we can see where J. K. Rowling might have got her inspiration for Gringotts Bank!) and on the tour boat that took them across Loch Lomond. Who knows? Maybe reading about Camber will inspire the Scottish locals to visit Camber one day?
Happy snapping, Camber folk – we look forward to receiving your pictures!
