This month, the newsletter took a trip to a ‘virtual’ Germany! Not quite the real country, but the Cinque Ports Arms in New Romney went German for a weekend at the beginning of October, hosting Oktoberfest. A group of Camber residents went over the temporary border, taking a copy of the newsletter with them, and enjoyed some live music, German beer, sauerkraut and schnitzels!
Just before we went to print, we received some enticing photos of the newsletter sitting on a seat in an aircraft, and then boarding a cruise ship! We will report where this voyage took the newsletter in next month’s edition… we are sure it will be somewhere exciting!

When you go off on your travels, however near or far flung, please take your copy of CCN with you and snap a picture of it in different places, and then send it in to us at cambernews@hotmail.com. If you have finished reading it by the time you take the picture, why not leave your copy at the destination for someone else to read, and maybe they will also fall in love with Camber!
