
Camber Community Christmas Lunch

Another fabulous Prize Bingo Night was held at the end of January, in The Camber Castle pub. One of our usual callers, Ian, called the numbers. A veteran bingo caller, Ian kept the games moving along, interspersed with his dry wit and humour.
Valentine’s Day, Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine – whichever grabs your fancy (pun intended!) – is celebrated annually on 14th February.
The Christmas tree that featured in the Church for our Carol Service on 22nd December arrived in Camber after a bit of a journey.
I am sure you will all know at least one person who has named their vehicle – and probably given them a bit of a jibe about the ridiculousness of naming an inanimate object, etc!
Once again, Camber (and Rye) graced our TV screens on 18th December and again on Boxing Day in Dame Mary Berry’s Christmas special Mary Makes Christmas.
