The Paralympic Games followed the Olympic Games, running from 28th August until 8th September. This was the first time that Paris had hosted the Summer Paralympics Games, involving 22 sports and 549 events. We applaud the athletes and sports men and women who took part.
Well done, Team GB, for bringing home the following medals:
