The Camber Community Lunch Group had another successful and, given the cold weather, very welcome free lunch event on Friday 10th January – the first one for 2025. Guests were treated to a bowl of delicious warm soup (Spiced Parsnip and Bacon/Lentil were on offer), plus tasty bread and homemade scones followed by a slice of beautifully baked cake.
Many thanks to all that supported the event – and a big thanks to the volunteers who assisted with the setting up, service and final clean-up. Also – an extra special thanks from the group to Camber Kitesurf for donating a delicious soup and contributing 2 hours of volunteer work.
