Trick or Treat?
Hallowe’en is synonymous with a spooky full moon, backlighting, witches, bats, ghostly looking trees and buildings. Hallowe’en is also a time to observe respect for others whilst having some spooky fun.
Triple Treat!
The September full moon, known as the Harvest Moon, was also a Supermoon. This happens when the moon is closest to the Earth, making it appear bigger and brighter than a standard full moon. September’s full moon, however, was also subject to a partial lunar eclipse.
Paralympic Success!
The Paralympic Games followed the Olympic Games, running from 28th August until 8th September. This was the first time that Paris had hosted the Summer Paralympics Games
Donation of Unused Mobility and Medical Items
During the past two decades, Medi Tech Trust has donated medical equipment to surgeries and hospitals. Two years ago, we launched a recycling initiative called Medigive®, which has already enabled our charity to donate nearly £4 million worth of medical equipment and consumables to hospitals in low-income countries and war zones.

Throughout the first two weeks of July, The Castle played host to the England games of the Euro 2024 tournament, attracting big crowds who created an electric atmosphere.
