Summer in Camber is always our favourite time of year, but sadly, just like that, another summer season comes to an end. Whilst we didn’t experience a scorcher, at least the weather was better than it was last year!
We are thankful that this year the school holidays provided some good weather that allowed families from all over to experience our beautiful beach. We had a few ‘Red’ days sprinkled in the middle period, and as always, we are grateful to local businesses and residents alike for working with us to make the busy days run as smoothly as possible, and cause as minimal disruption to the village as possible. As we do every winter, we will sit down as a team and see how we can always improve our operation for the aforementioned reasons.
Thanks must go to Biffa, our beach cleansing team. Their work this year was exemplary and the beach has been looking pristine. As we are every year, we are extremely grateful for our local car park staff and all of their efforts this summer and so we say thank you to them.
Finally, works start on Monday 7th October to build the new Camber Welcome Centre – so watch this space!
All the best and have a good winter!
