The King Charles III Coronation Medal was awarded to frontline emergency service workers who had completed five years of service on May 6, 2023, and who dealt with emergencies as part of their job. This included police officers, firefighters, and paramedics – and Camber’s very own Community First Responder, Sam Carter!
Sam has been serving Camber and the surrounding area as a Community First Responder for 18 years, and we are all very lucky that he is here. Well done, Sam – and thank you for your unwavering and dedicated service to Camber residents!
Here is a picture of Sam receiving his medal in July from Neville Bettley, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB).
