NEWS FROM THE REV
A new term and new adventures. May God’s blessings be on all those children/young people embarking on change of schools, classes, and those just starting school.
All the events mentioned in the previous Community News came to pass. The highlight of course was the wonderful wedding of Richard Baker to Annie Thorn, our wardens. It was a wonderful day and everyone enjoyed themselves.
As to the rest of the summer, apart from the ghastly parking problem and the sad death of a motorcyclist, it’s gone well. For us here at the church, we had our Community Flower Festival. At time of writing, it hasn’t happened yet but I am hoping it will be an annual event.
Looking forward to September and October we will be having a Blessing of the Animals service, and a Harvest Thanksgiving service, as well as our regular Pop-In on Friday afternoons and Sunday at Six Service. Dates will be displayed at Camber Church and at Memorial Hall. Keep your eyes peeled!
It was great to be greeted by Linda from Pelwood on my travels on my trusty trike.
God bless you all my lovelies. Rev Yvonne.
