I’ve had a couple of trips home this last two months and unfortunately missed out on the community lunch… And the filming on the beach! My loss. Thanks to those who posted photos on FB.
It was wonderful to be asked outside BJ’s the other day about a wedding reservation when out on my trike.
On a practical front, October has been an interesting month. We’ve had a painter in to redecorate the ceiling where there had been a leak, the electrician for electric safety check and the pest killers to check for woodworm. In between all that we had a wonderful Pet Blessing Service with four dogs, one cat, and two memory dogs. And cake, oh yes, we had cake! (illustrations are of Brenda’s Jeanie the black cat recovering from a tooth extraction, and Richard and Mack, and Yvonne and John with Magnus and Poppy and Michael who helped.)
We’ve done some forward planning and can assure you that our Remembrance Sunday is on November 10th, Carol Service is on December 22nd and Midnight Mass on December 24th, and a Christmas Service on December 25th. Our bulletin board will supply the details. But please, please support our event services.
Usual Sunday Services are at 10.30am every week except the first Sunday.
I’m in the church office on Tuesday and Friday afternoons if you want to talk or chill out. Coffee’s always free.
