We all know times are hard at the moment, so a group of friends, who are regulars at The Rye Bay Bar & Grill in Old Lydd Road, decided to give Santa a helping hand!
The team of volunteers have been holding weekly raffles at The Rye Bay to help Father Christmas with the cost of buying gifts for the children of Camber, which he will give out to local families when he visits our village Christmas Fayre on 22nd November. (Do come along and meet him on the day!)
So far, the team – who paid for all the prizes from their own pockets – have raised a huge amount that they have donated towards Santa’s costs!
We are sure Santa will appreciate it, and ensure that all the young folk visiting the fayre will receive a gift!
Well done to all of the team for their initiative, hard work, and generosity! They would like to thank everyone who has bought tickets to support the raffle.
