At the beginning of December, Castle-goers were treated to a comedy music duo, ‘The King Elvises – 70s Roadshow’. The show featured lots of Elvis hits alongside plenty of antics, some of which were a little on the ‘rude’ side, and lots of audience participation.
During October half term, pub favourite, Ritchie Cambell, reappeared at The Castle, treating everyone to his UB40 style reggae set. It was good to see so many holidaymakers turning up to join in with the evening!
It was another busy month at The Castle! Whilst the karaoke and Old Skool discos were scaled back for the impending winter season, October saw the start of a new regular slot: Sunday Funday Vibes!
At the end of August, Castle-goers were treated to the extraordinary guitar skills of Tigo, a solo performer, who impressed everyone with his array of sounds from Pink Floyd to Bob Marley to Dire Straits! His guitar-playing talent was exceptional.
Throughout the first two weeks of July, The Castle played host to the England games of the Euro 2024 tournament, attracting big crowds who created an electric atmosphere.
