During October half term, pub favourite, Ritchie Cambell, reappeared at The Castle, treating everyone to his UB40 style reggae set. It was good to see so many holidaymakers turning up to join in with the evening! This was followed, a few days later, by CCN’s Prize Bingo Night. The week finished off with the main event, The Hallowe’en Ball! The Castle was expertly decorated with spooky stuff in the run up to the big day. There was a DJ to entertain, and almost everyone came along in fancy dress!
Coming up:
Saturday 7th December at 9.00pm is a comedy music duo, ‘The King Elvises – 70s Roadshow’. The show features lots of Elvis songs but with a ‘blue’ twist – it’s not for the fainthearted!
Sunday 15th December sees the return of Ritchie Campbell but, this time, he will be playing as part of the Sunday Funday Vibes, with the Specials Board drinks price list between 2.00pm and 5.00pm.
Tuesday 31st December, New Years Eve – like last year, this will be a ticket-only event. Get your tickets early as they are sure to sell out!
Sunday 5th January is another Sunday Funday Vibes afternoon, with the Specials Board drinks prices from 2.00pm until 5.00pm, featuring ‘Elvis – A Tribute to the King’.
Thursday 23rd January is the next Prize Bingo night in support of Camber Community Newsletter. It starts at 7.00pm (eyes down 7.30pm). There will be a Scottish twist with it being so close to Burns Night! Kilts optional!
In between these set dates, there will be karaoke nights thrown into the mix. As always, keep an eye out on The Castle’s Facebook page and the noticeboard in the pub for any additional events – different acts are being booked all the time!
